Irish Internet Association

The Irish Internet Association is the professional body for those conducting business via the internet from Ireland. It has been and remains one of the driving forces behind the adoption of the medium. Established in 1997, the IIA provides leadership to enterprises and society conducting business in Ireland. The IIA is a strong voice for its 400 plus membership. The aim of the Association is to Connect, Inform and Promote.

The IIA also allow SPAMMERS to post to their Blog Site see Blog Entry http://blog.iia.ie/wp-content/themes/blix/comments.php?blog=pharmacy&name=Codeine

The IIA were informed about this in May of 2007 and still today they have done nothing to stop the apread of SPAM, and are allowing the continuation of this practice throughout their online Blog.

See http://blog.iia.ie/2006/calls-from-impersonator/#comments where you can find links to all sorts of sites suppling content such as Free Porn Movies, a video of Saddams Hanging, and Gay Sex Videos, to highlight just a few.

Again the SPAMMERS are targeting the Archives as this is easire and less likely to be descovered by the people running the Blog.

As the Professional Body for those conduction business via the Internet, the IIA should lead by example and get their own house in order.
